Once again the weather played a major part in the cycling activities of the members of the Warragul Cycling Club. Only one race was run on Friday night at the velodrome. A and B grade combined in a 25 lap scratch race with rain falling on the bell lap. Darren Spiteri just held out Garry Jackson with Carl Matalat third and Chris Ray fourth. As usual Aaron Nobelius was making life difficult for the senior riders and was unlucky to miss a vital break with two laps to go.
