Warren began racing bikes with his brother on the velodrome in 1972 when he was only 8 years old. Warren’s cycling skills grew quickly, over the following years he was mentored by his father and some of the famous professional riders of that era and quickly became an accomplished junior racer. At 15 Warren was one of the first professional BMX racers and trick riders in Australia. With this strong foundation in BMX, he made his transition to the, at the time, new sport of Mountain Bike racing and became immediately successful. While his performance was outstanding in the downhill category, Warren’s all-round talent meant he was a contender in Cross-Country as well as Trials. With a lifetime of riding road and off road at an elite level, Warren is the guy to chat with about all things cycling.

Warren is an accomplished outdoor education lecturer and guides cycling tours to see le Tour de France and the Giro d’Italia. If you need help on a bike, he is the best resource you can find.
