The Warragul Cycling Club Ride Captains (Badgers) will provide leadership within the Warragul Cycling community as and when required.
The Badgers will lead by example in all aspects of cycling to create a safe and enjoyable cycling environment for those who participate in cycling activities in the Baw Baw region. Badgers will support and encourage the understanding and compliance with the WCC Cycling Code of Conduct in a professional and courteous manner. They will endeavour to assist all levels of cyclists to comply with all road laws, to understand and improve their riding skills and to apply proper cycling etiquette particularly when riding in bunch group rides.
Badgers will also be particularly mindful of other road users and will encourage and promote this same awareness and to interact with all road users in a courteous manner. Badgers will be exemplary representatives of the Warragul Cycling Club and the Baw Baw cycling community at all times.
