After being invited to attend a 10 day long training camp with the AIS MTB program in Tasmania Brenton Jones has been selected in the Junior National team to compete in Europe in two World Cup races the 1^st in Germany the 2^nd in Belgium and two other racers in France and Switzerland. He will be leaving 7^th April for the month long trip which is preparation for the World Championships to be hosted in Australia this year in September.

Brenton finished 16th in the French Roc Lassiac Race in snow and mud and 29th in the Swiss National Racer Cup Series out of 89 starters.

This weekend is the first of the World Cups which is in Germany his race is 10.30pm Saturday night our time.

04/02/2009 - update

Next installment, WC 2 Offenberg Germany. It was a great day the weather was fine 25 deg the track was dry. again our boys were almost near the back apart from Michael Baker who was on the front row.  ( National Champ thingy ) Brenton looked good during the race.
