Track Racing Details / Reports
As well as track racing, we offer road racing.
During the period of daylight savings, the WCC holds track nights on Tuesdays from 6pm - 7pm for Junior Training/Racing and 7pm - 9/9:30pm Senior Training/Racing (Depends on numbers).

Senior Track training commences Tuesday 20 Oct 2009 at the velodrome

Junior track training commences 6pm (be there at 5:30pm) every Tuesday from Nov 3rd. Seniors to follow at 7pm.
When racing is held, a variety of races take place:

(graded) scratch races

handicaps
-
point scores
-
other events at the whim of the commisaire(s)
Race entry is $5 and competitors will need a CSV license or day license. Entries are welcomed from other clubs, particularly from our fellow Gippsland Clubs.
After a long break. track racing returned to the Warragul Velodrome in December 2006.
The late 1980's, early 1990's saw track racing take place on Friday nights with many riders from the LCCC, WCC and Leongatha CC in attendance.
